Ende der 50er-Jahre wurde ich in Amsterdam geboren. Bis zu meiner Einschulung reiste ich mit meiner Familie durch die Welt. Auch nach der Niederlassung in der Schweiz blieb meine Familie international verbunden. Diese Lebenseinstellung hat mich geprägt.
Bereits mein Vater arbeitete künstlerisch. Er nahm immer Ölfarben, Pinsel und Leinwand in unsere Ferien mit. Ich durfte als Kind helfen, Farben zu mischen. Und ich lernte bei ihm, Erinnerungen und Emotionen in Bilder umzusetzen. Diese Leidenschaft ist geblieben.
Als Malerin habe ich über die Jahre verschiedene Techniken ausprobiert. Die Acrylmalerei hat mich stets am meisten fasziniert. Die Flexibilität, bestehende Werke zu überarbeiten, gefällt mir und ich nutze sie immer wieder.
Malen ist Entspannung für mich. Ich kann mich darin verwirklichen und Energie tanken. In meinen Bildern spiegelt sich oft meine Stimmung.

At the end of the 50s I was born in Amsterdam.
Until I started school, I travelled the world with my family.
Even after the establishment in Switzerland, my family remained internationally connected. This attitude to life has shaped me.
Already my father worked artistically. He always took oil paints, brushes and canvas with him on our holidays. As a child, I was allowed to help mix colours. And I learned from him to translate memories and emotions into images. This passion has remained.
As a painter, I have tried different techniques over the years. Acrylic painting has always fascinated me the most. I like the flexibility to revise existing works and I use it again and again.
Painting is relaxation for me. I can realize myself in it and recharge my batteries. My pictures often reflect my mood.

Je suis née à Amsterdam à la fin des années 50.
Jusqu’à ce que je commence l’école, j’ai parcouru le monde avec ma famille. Même après l’établissement en Suisse, ma famille est restée connectée à l’international. Cette attitude envers la vie m’a façonné.
Déjà mon père travaillait artistiquement. Il emportait toujours des peintures à l’huile, des pinceaux et des toiles avec lui pendant nos vacances. Enfant, j’avais le droit d’aider à mélanger les couleurs. Et j’ai appris de lui à traduire les souvenirs et les émotions en images. Cette passion est restée.
En tant que peintre, j’ai essayé différentes techniques au fil des ans. La peinture acrylique m’a toujours le plus fasciné. J’aime la flexibilité de réviser les œuvres existantes et je l’utilise encore et encore.
Peindre est une détente pour moi. Je peux m’y rendre compte et recharger mes batteries. Mes photos reflètent souvent mon humeur.
